End of the Year School Things

The past week Katie has had two programs for end of the year. They had their Barnyard Moosical last Friday and then today was Kindergarten Graduation.

First let me just say that it was dysfunction junction at both of these programs. They have them in the gym with rows of chairs that are all level and then you have all of your 3 foot 5 kids standing on the ground with only a few of them standing up on bleachers, so you can't really see your kid at all unless you are on the front row. Then you have to get there two hours before the show started or you didn't get front row. We were in the back for the musical and today I sent Chris an hour before to save seats. I think he almost got beat down by the time we got there. He said everyone was eyeing him because he was saving seats. Go Daddy for hanging in there and getting us at least 5 rows back! I think you can get the picture of how crazy it was in there and how crazy momma and daddy's were wanting to get all sorts of pics and video of their kid. Oh my goodness it was crazy. But anywayyyyy....the price you pay to see your cuteness perform in a cow mask and get her Kindergarten "diploma".

Because of all the craziness(have I mentioned how crazy it was there). :) We really didn't get very many good pictures of her during the programs but we got some good ones after.

Katie back in her classroom after the Barnyard Moosical. Her class were cows and sang about how you make a milkshake.

Back in her room after graduation. Waiting for her classroom awards to start.

Her teacher Mrs. Law gives our candy awards to each kid. The type of candy has to do with something about their character or something they are really good at. I have to say Mrs. Law is very creative to come up with 22 different candy types and the cute way she connected them to the kids. Katie got the "Dot Award" for being the best at knowing her punctuation when she writes.

Proud Momma and Daddy with their little graduate. She has done so well in her new school that she has only been apart of for five weeks now. Everyone says it seems like she has been there all year. That's my girl, always the social butterfly and able to fit in.
Bree was only concerned about cake. She was glad to be able to sit down and enjoy a piece.

Katie we are so proud of how much you have learned and grown this past year. You are one smart cookie!
