Graduation Day!

Chris has FINALLY finished. Hallelujah! Praise God! Thanks You Jesus and any other praise phrase you want to add in there. His is now an official alumni of OSU with his Masters in Business Administration with a focus in Finance. He has worked really hard the past four years taking classes part time while working full time, being a daddy, husband, upwards coach for basketball, soccer and football, sunday school teacher, etc. He has had a full plate to say the least. Even with all these things to handle he still graduated first in his class with a 4.0!

Chris wasn't going to go through the ceremony but I told him he needed to walk. He worked hard and it would be good for the girls to see what he was working for. OSU campus is in Stillwater which is about an hour away. They have a campus here in Tulsa which is where he attended but for graduation we had to go to Stillwater, so we decided to go early and make a day of the trip.

We hit a few of the local OSU apparel stores in hunt for the girls a sweatshirt. They both said they wanted one we have been looking here but can't seem to find much in kids sizes. We found some cute ones, plus they were 40% off! They had to wear them right away. After the stores we had to go eat at the one place everyone tells us about Eskimo Joes. All we every hear is how great the food is. So we decided to try it out.

Eskimo Joe's has a store as well with lots of their apparel. They girls thought this statue was funny. They asked for me to take their picture with him. I love how Bree has her tongue out like the dog.

The other thing we were told is that if we go to Joes we have to try the chili cheese fries as "they are the best every". We got an order and I have to say I agree. They were good. We kept asking Katie and Bree if they wanted any and they would say no. I finally convinced Katie to try them. As you can see she ended up really liking them. She downed half the plate. :)

Katie giving her Grandma some love.
Bree being silly with Grandma and Grandpa.

A family photo at Joe's before we headed over to the graduation ceremony.

Chris and the girls. They were so excited to watch him graduate. I don't think they really knew what was going to happen but they were excited.

Chris walking in. I remembered after he walked in that I had my video camera. Duh! I got some video of him walking to get his diploma which you can see here.
The ceremony was actually pretty short which I was surprised but I was glad because it was at 7pm. They were only recognizing Master and Doctrinal degrees and then next day they do undergraduates. The ceremony lasted exactly an hour which was long enough for my two little ones and it was their bedtime so they were fading. As most of you know if you have sat through a graduation ceremony they are not the most thrilling things in the world.

I just have to say I couldn't be more proud of Chris. He has always had a drive to learn and excel in his career. He has always accomplished anything he has put his mind to. He works hard to provide for me and the girls. Thank you for all you do Chris! Now you have all the time in the world to start on my Honey Do List. Ha!
